How can we make better use of the potential of Citizen Science in science education? Our new cooperative project, funded by the Joachim Herz Foundation, is developing teaching materials and training concepts and is researching the effects on students.
The project CitSciID investigates how participating multiple times in Citizen Science may foster science identity development of students and teachers. Building on teachers’ experience with Citizen Science, we collaboratively develop a workshop and teaching materials to support the implementation of Citizen Science in schools.
